ABOUT IRMET

PIONEERS IN RECYCLING
SINCE 1953

At IRMET , we have been leading the forefront of recycling and treatment of disused Lead-Acid electrical batteries in Argentina for more than six decades, focusing on recycling of batteries, non-ferrous metals and waste products containing lead from related industries.

RECYCLING PROCESS
1) Efficient Transportation

We integrate transportation as an essential part of our process. Our team is in charge of collecting your batteries and materials that contain lead, ensuring efficient, safe and environmental logistics from your location to our facilities.

2) Reception and Classification
From reception to meticulous sorting, we take care of separating the different materials to ensure effective recycling.
3) Production
We carry out a grinding, smelting and refining process with the aim of obtaining refined lead and special alloys, all in accordance with the specifications detailed by our clients.

4) Recovery of Polypropylene
In addition, we recover the polypropylene from the electrical accumulators. This material goes through a grinding and washing process to then be re-entered in a sustainable way into the plastics industry.

5) Commitment to Sustainability
We are proud to actively contribute to environmental sustainability. Each step of our process is designed to minimize the impact on the environment and maximize the recovery of valuable materials.

Our VISION

“Be a participant in the creation of a sustainable and regulated system for the recovery of lead waste, in which formal recycling is the path to the sustainable development of our society.”

Our MISSION

“Produce quality recycled products for the battery and related industries, guaranteeing the safety of our employees and the use of clean technologies that do not harm the environment while being competitive.”

«At IRMET, we are more committed than ever to preserving the environment. Turn your waste into valuable resources and join our mission to build a more sustainable future. Contact us today to begin the journey toward a cleaner, more responsible tomorrow.”
